Caring for our Children
SCHOOL REQUIREMENTS
Within WASPS, our overarching mission is finding ways to enrich our children’s educations through engaging activities and powerful initiatives. Unfortunately, the school itself is not supported sufficiently by the system to have the resources to provide all the varied opportunities some of us may desire for our children. By helping us fund for and donate towards specific initiatives, we can give our children the experiences we think they need to grow.
HOW IT WORKS.
Below is a list of resources the school and parents, both, have told us are needed. Money is allocated from our fundraising efforts to an item depending on the school's requirements. You can also donate ad hoc directly, should you wish to. If there is another item you would like to add to the list, please let us know.
BE PART OF THE DECISION-MAKING
BASKETBALLS & NETS
£60 raised of £120 required
A health and happy body supports a happy mind. Fun in the playground ensures children can develop and try out new skills. Donate to enable the school to buy 4 basketballs and 2 nets. Head to our JustGiving page to find out more.
STEM PROGRAMME
£0 raised from £200 required
From a large selection of enrichment programmes to the newly added STEM Programme, our PTA is always finding new and unique initiatives for our students. Our STEM Programme is a fun and educational program for all.
MUSIC EQUIPMENT
£20 raised from £120 required
12 guitars, 17 recorders, 25 drums
